i wanted (at my age and style nowadays) a simple watch to wear when i work mainly but also on an everyday basis. the simple "time piece" watch itself is simple with the time face easily readable with the basic indiglo light that comes with timex to read at night or dark places. the sound of the watch has a little tick tok
sound like a mini wall clock on your wrist...first wrist watch i had that you can literally here it clearly. i don't mind it actually, i like it because i've gotten used to it and if the tick tok sounds different over time i'll realize that the battery needs to be changed. i was worried that the watch might crack because i run around everywhere when i work and bump into things but i've never had that issue not even a scratch on the face of the watch so i'm happy. it also has the plus of having a flexible and easily changeable wrist strap made of lite material which is about $7 i believe to change out.

The watch was exactly what I needed. Not too fancy nor too plain. It is quite easy to read (except for those under 10 who struggle with all things analog). It has a lit face when depressing the setting knob that allows for use in dark conditions. I have wanted an alarm function a couple of times, but for that I go to my watch. If there is anything unusual, it is only that the second hand ticking sound is quiet loud. At night, when trying to go to sleep, I have found it best to remove the watch and place it face down on some paper towel. I have no doubt that one could remove the second hand, but I actually purchased the watch because I wanted a working second hand, so that is not an option. Nor is it necessary. Cheers.

Very well made casual Field watch! No lume... but it's $34.74 worth of excellence otherwise. Perfect size, weight and descending lug design making it so comfortable, wearable and snug! High polished case, high quality leather NATO strap, jet black face and precise numerals on the face make it elegant and I am proud to have it on wrist. I highly recommend this watch for anyone who values getting waaay more than you paid for. It comes in an seemingly unlimited number of color combinations so rest assured you'll find exactly what suits your taste. As for me...I'm just begining to appreciate Timex again so this is now the second in my collection (there will be many more to come) I own very inexpensive watches, moderately expensive and a few very expensive ones... Some 40 watches in total but, Timex will now be a go to brand for the time being. Undeniable quality, craftsmanship, comfort and good looks. Perfect. I got much more than I paid for and that can only be a good thing. Recommendation: "Buy TIMEX Weekender" and feel good about it!
Coolest watch I have ever seen, super comfortable and really nice looking
This watch is so fricking cool! I love the way it looks! It came super fast and looks really really really cool. I like it more than a rolex or anything else. The nato strap is awesome because its SUPER SUPER comfortable and comes out super easy if you want to change the strap. Hasn't skipped a beat and has a really cool and well made light feature for when your in the dark. The offwhite in the center is really nice looking too, I can't reccomend this truly awesome watch for 30 dollars more. It's the coolest watch I have ever had or seen, I LOVE IT!!!
It also uses a super common watch battery so it's easy to replace in the future
Cons: a bit of fraying around the holes on the strap, ticks loudly but I can only hear it if I really listen, but I actually like the way it sounds. One other con is that the second hand sometimes doesn't match up but it's ok. I LOVE THIS WATCH!!!
Absolutely love my new watch!
Next spring I'm planning a trip to a country that uses the 24 hour clock. I decided I didn't want to waste time trying to recall or figure out what all the times after 12 were, so I figured I'd learn to adjust them automatically. And what better way than with a 24 hour watch? When the watch arrived, I loved it at first site. The numbers on the face are large and easy to read (I'm a "senior citizen"), with 1300 through 2400 written just below the numbers from 1 to 12. The watch was easy to set and so far (10 days) appears to be keeping accurate time. The very best--and surprising-- feature is the band, which is made of a material sort of like canvas but very comfortable against the skin. Plus the band is longer than most with lots of holes to adjust the size, and now finally I have a watch that doesn't pinch my chubby wrist. That it is waterproof is a bonus. I don't plan to take it swimming, but if caught out in the rain I needn't worry about the watch getting wet.

I am a Nursing assistant and had to get a second hand watch. In the West coast - we wear watches less and less these days due to our cell phones. I wanted a large face and changeable band where in the future I can purchase Multiple color bands to match my future scrubs collection. I love the fact that I can see the time in the dark. A great experience is in the movie theaters ... Taking out my phone and having a big screen glow to tell the time .. I don't want the theater thinking that I am filming the movie or taking pictures. So this is a great - little gem.
Great for nursing students
I love this watch. I’m a woman, and/but I don’t care for the tiny faced watches that are marketed to women. I get tons of compliments on this from men and women.
