#1:Casio Men's G-Shock Quartz Watch with Resin Strap, Black (Model: GWM5610-1)

Latest In A Long Line
I bought my first G-shock in college in 1984, the year after they came out. Wore it for more than a decade, bicycling, camping, fishing, basically anything outdoors. Never a problem other than replaced the band once. Second one lasted until 2016 when I lost it in a hotel. Bought the GW-6900 on Amazon in 2016, having the
solar capability along with the master clock reception. I gave it away recently to a friend who couldn't afford a G-Shock (8 kids and a very hard worker). So, this model replaced that one. It is pretty much the same basic functional watch that the last one was, but this is in a smaller case and it squared instead of rounded. Casio makes amazing resin bands for these, so comfortable. These watches can be used to mow the yard, water ski, work on cars, etc.--then just rinsed off with a garden hose or washed with dishwashing liquid under a cold tap in the skin. I have a Rolex. I have a very nice Breitling. I have a Zenith. I have a very nice Omega. But, I don't consider them superior at all to this amazing line of watches that have served so many millions with reliability, value and utility.

If you wear multiple watches DO NOT BUY THIS ONE
It will become your everyday watch and you will enjoy it. It does everything in the description and then some. It sits nicely on your wrist without looking too big or too small, just right. It has stopwatch capabilities along with timer capabilities. Its a good digital watch and from what I've seen it can take a beating and still beep on the hour for you. Of course there's a couple accessories you can get for it too, including a screen protector and a brace to protect it.
If you're looking for a good watch that you can drag through the mud and still check the time, look no further

It's a classic
So...Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF for those of you who are wondering what that acronym actually stood for): I'm an idiot. It took me literally 20 minutes to get this watch up and running (I'm in Dubai at the moment with the military) and I read the instructions for like 15 minutes trying to figure out which timezone would work...I should have just scrolled through the list on the watch as DBX was one of the options - they just don't list it in the instruction sheet. Then it took me another few minutes to figure out what the GET screen meant (you'd think after reading the instructions for about 20 minutes at this point I'd have figured it out...) anyway; it's the last time the watch synced, which can't happen in Dubai as it's not one of the locations that the watch syncs with.

So...I'm an idiot, but I got the watch working and it's great. I'll splurge and buy another version of this as I have no self-control and this is a cool watch to collect.

Perfect time keeper for the outdoors.
This is a fantastic watch. I was a little nervous when I first put it on. My wrist is about 7 7/8 inches and I have it on the hole 4th from the end. But, this has not proven to be an issue at all. I have now worn it every day for about 4 months. It came with the battery indicator on high and has never been below that with some long stretches of only indoor light from being under jacket sleaves outside lately. I love the ability to turn off the auto light and the powersave mode
It has also been submerged countless times in anything from muddy rivers to the kids hot bath water. I live in northeastern NY and it updates on average about once every 2 days. This is not the fault of the watch but my distance from the shortwave signal in Boulder. Here's to hoping they don't shut that place down as it is nice to have a non-smart watch that you never have to touch the time settings.

This Is My 3rd Solar Atomic G-Shock
This is my third Casio G-Shock Solar Atomic watch, 5th Casio total, (the others are still working great). The smaller size compared to my other 2 Solar Atomic G-Shocks is nice.
All the features work, time receive, automatic backlight, etc.
This has all of the quality and ruggedness I expect from a Casio G-Shock.

The ultimate traveler's watch
I bought this in anticipation of a trip to Africa and Europe. I didn't want to take my expensive Omega watch on this trip in case I get robbed or eaten by a crocodile or lion. Hey - it could happen. Anyway, this watch is wonderful. I will be using the various time zone settings to manage the 5 different time zones I will be in during this trip. I won't have to worry about accuracy as long as it can sync with an atomic clock. I won't need to worry about bumps, scratches, and other hard knocks since this watch is durable as all get out. And with solar-powered charging, I won't need to worry about a battery issue or other such problem that knocks the watch out of commission. I think this may be the ultimate traveler's watch. cheap watches watch sale discount watches sports watches automatic watches gold watches affordable watches designer watches low price watch digital watch
