My teen just broke his watch that he’s been wearing everyday for 2 years. He loves digital black watches and isn’t a big “brand” person for them. So after reviewing some watches, I was really impressed with the Armitron Red & Black Men’s Sports Watch. The pop of red color is really attractive. It looks just like the
online images. I like the various circles and the timer/ alarm on the watch. It feels very comfortable. I did not completely unwrap it, as it’s a Christmas gift. But I’m really excited.

Ordered this watch because I needed a work watch that was durable, and something that could get destroyed without being out of pocket for a more expensive watch. Price was less than $15 for a watch that did everything I needed. Surprised at it's clean shape, and good looks.
Manual that comes with it is somewhat vague as to how to control the settings, but I found many useful & fast videos on YouTube that clearly showed how to set the time/date, etc. The band is super adjustable & flexible.
It looks great & a great buy.
Great watch for the price!
So far the watch for the price exceeded my expectations. It's been a while since I've worn a watch, but find it so handy to just glance at the time instead of pulling out my phone and easily being distracted by notifications! It has different modes for 24 hour time, stop watch, a different time zone. It doesn't do anything for direction as you'd think given the compass markings on the watch. It seems to keep time very well.
There is a section on the watch that cycles through various dots - not sure what purpose that serves yet as I haven't had time to investigate.
Overall a great watch for the price - I'll see how it holds up in long-term daily use, but so far so good!
Great Design and still works since May 2017.
I love this watch. It has all digital functions that you would see in other expensive watches like Casio or Timex.
But one thing that really got my attention was the design. No other brands have unique design like Armitron, and it is inexpensive.
I've had it for only a week, so I'm wondering how long it will last.
***Update. I've had it since May 2017, so it's close to a year and there's nothing wrong with it. I've been working out here in Afghanistan as a contractor for over 6 months, and this watch has been serving its purpose. I wear it everyday and everywhere I go, this includes taking a ride in a military aircraft, taking a shower, and working out in the gym. There are some minor scratches on the surface of the watch, but the green color and letters have not faded yet and it still looks good as a tactical watch in a rough environment. I really love this watch!
Great watch for little money
Been using armitron watches for over 20yrs never a issue with any. My old armitron auto self winder was starting to get too heavy for everyday wearing with my arthritis issues so i wanted something lighter and more functional. This is a Very nice watch for $15. Everything works good though im not sure the purpose of the round read out in the upper right. This has dual time zones witch is great for a medicine reminder. I set my alarm to my morning med taking time the go to the second time zone and set that for the exact time it is now only i make that one AM if the current time is in PM then ill have my alarm go off at 9:30am and 9:30pm.
Excellent purchase
I bought this watch for my best friend for Christmas and he loves it. He washes dishes a lot and always had to keto taking his old watch on/off. Now he can wash them with the watch on. He says he gets a lot of compliments on it when he's at work. He has skinny arms and wrists, but the watch doesn't overwhelm his arm! I'm glad I did a lot of research before I bought it. Although it is getting harder to believe all of the reviews because people are buying high rating reviews. I can say honestly that this watch is well worth the money! Hope this helps.
The only watch my husband and son wear
This is a very attractive watch that comes in quite a few different colors. It is masculine in appearance, has a comfortable band and does hold up when wearing swimming. On two throughout the years, the band broke, but it is put through a lot of outdoor abuse during a regular work day. Considering, it holds up great and with a reasonable price replacing after a couple of years is fine.
