Need a Watch for Work, Does the Trick
For what I do for a living, I need a watch, but because of what I do, I ain't wearing anything that is worth anything. Yes, I have a cellphone; no, it doesn't do out in the field cause there isn't any cell service and I'm not risking damaging the phone just to know the time. This watch stands up to the abuse it has to take and keeps working. Oh, and I'm a cave explorer, so this watch comes with me on those adventures which are almost as abusive as my work (work hard, play hard).

Best watch I've ever owned
This watch is the best value for money I've ever seen in my life, I've own alot of watches but this one is in my new favorite. For 40 dollars you get top tier quality, the glass is clear, the face is exactly as pictured, the band has a brushed texture in the middle and the clasp features the logo very subtly and well. All the features it says are functional and very accurate. I especially love the sun and moon cycle because it's a rare thing to see in a watch under 100 dollars let alone for only 40. Definitely recommend this watch and benyar in total as a brand.

Worth every penny
You never know how it’ll turn out buying name brands like this off of any website, but the quality was 10/10. My husband loved it as a Father’s Day gift and adjusting the links wasn’t too bad. Didn’t have the right tools to do it so we got crafty. Highly recommending anyone to make sure they get a small enough tool with purchase so you don’t have the challenge. Other than that, there isn’t one thing about this beautiful piece that I don’t like. Great gift!

Beautiful Watch
I ordered this watch for my son's birthday and he absolutely loved it. It is absolutely gorgeous. The photos do not do it justice. We have purchased several Invicta watches and have been very pleased with each of them. They quality and appearance of each watch has exceeded our expectations.

Free engraving once registered
I bought this for my sons 25th birthday and he loved it. He can also register the watch on fossil.com and any store will engrave it for free plus if it is stolen and taken to a pawn shop as soon as they run the serial number it will come back as stolen. I myself thought that was awesome. This is a great price for this watch.

still love them, but mostly I just want a watch ...
I’m over big, bulky watches. I’ve got my Suunto and a couple G-Shock watches. I still wear them, still love them, but mostly I just want a watch that keeps nice, precise time, doesn’t stand out from my wrist 3/4 inch and hopefully looks juuuust a little dorky. I’m also cheap. Waterproofness is important to me. I work a desk job. I commute by bus or train- watches help with that. I like to go on a run a couple times a week and wear a watch. I don’t sleep or shower with my watch on unless I’m camping or in a hotel. I like digital over analog because I kind of like to know exactly what time I think it is and I only ever estimate when I’m reading an analog watch because I’m lazy.
Cool digital watch!
I own a couple quartz watches, an automatic watch, and wanted to try out a digital watch. For digital watches, Casio is the go-to! I got this style because I liked the classic sleek design, and I wanted one with a bit of matte gold to somewhat match with my matte gold wedding band.
I love this watch. I use it as my daily. I don't have to worry about trashing it, losing it, or getting it stolen for the reason that it's so affordable for the average person that I can always replace it with a new one. I've worn it on a vacation trip and wore it in the pool/ocean for hours without any damage.
Very sleek for the style it is.
I have had this watch for 1 day, but I love it so far. I’ve had digital watches in the past, but this one seems to stand out. The only downside is the light is pretty dim, and only lights up 1/3 of the face. But it’s not so much a complaint, because I knew it was a weak light, in order to save battery life. I’m only putting this here Incase someone didn’t know. All in all, I am very happy with this watch. Switching from FitBit to Casio, as I feel I have been too connected to smart devices and realized I mostly use my watch for it’s intended purpose…to tell time.
The Gold Standard Practical Watch
What could I say about an F91W that hasn't been said? It's a lightweight waterproof watch with a chrono/stopwatch, alarm, backlight, and costs $10 with a battery that probably lasts 5 years plus. It is the ultimate utility watch, that asks nothing of you and will take essentially any amount of abuse. Break it? Oh well, $10 for another one that's exactly like the one you have.
Not much to be said.
Theres not much to say about this watch. It just plain works. And it looks good. I wear it every day, it's easy to read, and it costs basically nothing so if I were to break it I would just buy another. The light is pitiful so don't expect to read it in the dark but it's really not a big deal to me.
Perfect for time and date
I have been wearing inexpensive Casio and Timex water resistant watches for years. They have lasted about 1.5-3 years, and I replace them when the battery dies. I shower with this watch, and the time/date is easily read. However, this watch has the worst built in light I have encountered. It barely illuminates the first digit of the time readout. If a light is important to you, this is not the watch to choose. This is listed with a 7 year battery. I am on month one.
Inexpensive but terrific everyday watch
For the last 20 years I’ve been wearing nothing but these CASIO wristwatches, even though I could afford a much more expensive watch. Because all I need anytime is to know the date, the time (AM or PM ), and to set an alarm now and then. Yet it also tells me day of the week and has other functions as well. As a frequent traveler, what I like most is that if I lose it I can replace it easily. Love the plastic band. Best all-around device for the average guy. You just can’t go wrong buying this.

Same excellent value and quality that I'm used to, but the inverted screen is definitely weird.
To avoid confusion, I use aftermarket silicone bands from Ritche, purely for the aesthetic and not because there was a problem with the ones included on the watch.
I've worn these style of Casio calculator watches for most of my life, and despite some shortcomings that I will detail below, I really do love them.
Nice watch for the price
I purchased the black watch to add to my Casio collection. It's a fun little watch to wear. It takes me back to my nerdy high school days. I can read the display with ease. Yes, the buttons are small, but they are usable with a little bit of concentration or use pencil to push on it. Getting in and out of calculator mode is easy. The watch is a little bit smaller than I remember, but that makes no difference to me. It's very light and comfortable. Setting the time/date was easy as well. My only minor gripe is that it doesn't have a screen light. But for $20 I am not complaining!
Timeless Favorite
This is the 2nd time around I buy this watch for my boyfriend. The first one he broke, so undoubtably he was more than happy when I bought him another one. He barely ever takes it off, thanks to it being waterproof and loves the vintage look. I highly recommend as a staple piece to everyone.
Fun Piece of Nostalgia
This fun little blast from the past was a neat addition to my collection. The buttons work well and the calculator functions just as you would expect. The band feels cheap, but after all we're not after a serious timepiece here. The watch itself keeps great time, which was a nice surprise. Could you wear this every day? I don't really know how it would hold up.

Awesome watch I love, bummer about the time loss.
I bought this watch specifically for a camping trip because I wanted something classy that could still stand up to adventure. For a month, this watch held up against anything I threw at it: ATV'ing in the mountains, playing in sand at the beach, light swimming and frequent grilling / campfires. During my last trip, I noticed the time slowly began to lose minutes.
Returned the first watch, but the second one seems to be all right
I received this watch and right from the start, the box was crushed on the corner and the watch itself was not strapped in it's cradle with any zip ties
Right from the start, I had the impression this may be a used watch however I held on to it for about a week or so only to find out that it was losing approximately an hour every 2 days
I returned the watch and received a new one that was in the cradle and strapped in with the zip ties and everything seems to be so far, so good!
The returning of the watch was no problem and received the new one in a timely manner
Glass cover scratches easily
It's lightweight easy to read and looks good. Wrist band is a little small for larger arms. Only complaint is the glass cover scratches very easily. About every time I play with my dog it comes back with a new scratch. But for $50 was not expecting much.
Durable watch, keeps time... what more do you want?
I replaced my original Timex Men's Expedition Scout 40 Watch with an identical one. My first watch hung in there for two years and still looked remarkably good. .Alas! I am not easy on watches. My hobbies are woodworking, home repair and yard maintenance, and I do all my own mechanical work and no, I do not remove my watch. I tried to replace the battery but the watch had died (or I messed up).
If you are looking for a watch that is easy to read and tuff, this might be a good choice.
Updated review 9/3/2022 - replacement watch works fine
Update 03-Sept-2022: My original watch was a problem; see original review below. The replacement from Amazon arrived on 18-Aug-2022. It has been fine. Date sets fine, keeps time fine. Not sure why original watch was so problematic.
Original review 16-Aug-2022: I just received the watch 3 weeks ago. I set the time and date, but the standard 10-inch band was a bit too small, so I ordered a longer band. I did not wear the watch even once. Today I got the longer band. The watch time was off over 3 hours! And the day-of-month (1-31) setting would not move, neither when I put the crown in position B nor when I moved the time hands over 24 hours.
Takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking
Delivery of my watch was delayed by several days. When the watch finally arrived and I opened the package I was shocked to see that inside the outer envelope was a VERY mangled product box, several pieces of broken plastic and the watch. I was surprised to discover that the watch itself was completely undamaged. It was running, as the plastic retainer had slipped out of place, but I couldn't find so much as a blemish on the crystal or a crease in the band. Have only had the watch now for a few hours, but all functions are working, band is comfortable. Exactly what I was expecting. As I would have thrown away the product packaging even if it was undamaged, I am happy with the purchase. It's a decent watch, second hand movements align with the face markings, and it is doing everything as expected. I don't know how much force is required to shred the box and break apart the plastic holder, but it wasn't enough to stop a watch that "takes a licking and keeps on ticking"! A great watch for the price in my opinion.

Small band
Nice looking watch. Bright and easy to read in low light conditions. Keeps time, low profile, lightweight, easy to operate and simple build design.
The negative for me is the band is a little small. I have to wear it in the second to last hole is it won't be too snug on my wrist.
May be more suitable for a boy ir someone with smaller size wrist.
Was skeptical...
The off-brand name... the price... I was skeptical. I just got it today and, so far, I really like it! It hugs my wrist well, it's VERY slim which should make putting on coats easier in the winter, and the face is large enough for my 61 year old eyes to read at a glance. We'll see if it continues to impress in the long term. The band is pretty thin, and that's always been my issue with watches.
Surprised me
The watch face is simple yet tactful. Display is large and easy to read, unlike the instructions. Very simple to figure out the functions especially if you ever owned a digital watch before. Band is smooth and comfortable. A VERY nice price point. Definitely surpassed my expectations.
Wow!
I want to give it 5 stars but it’s a cheap watch. I don’t actually mean that negatively. I actually like it so far and I work in a power plant. I wash my hands a lot, work in harsh temperatures and mostly don’t care about my watches. It hasn’t been long but it’s taken everything I’ve given it. I chose it because it in not a overly sized brick. I love that it is thin. It’s not fancy but it’s got just the basic functions.
WOW!! Amazingly Durable and Sleek!
I surf daily in Hawaii and do construction. This watch hasn’t left my wrist since I bought it months ago. It looks just like the day I put it on. Salt water, wipe outs, reef hits, construction, no problem. Best watch I’ve had- just needs a tide function - but that’s asking too much -aloha. Oh- I don’t write reviews, but this is a helluva watch
Countdown timer missing important feature
I really wanted to like this watch. It has so much going for it -- a big display that is easy to read, comfortable to wear, a loud alarm, and a countdown timer. I bought it primarily for the countdown timer so I could use it when I referee soccer matches. However, the big problem is that you can't set the seconds on the timer. The smallest increment is a minute. For example, I can't set it to 12min, 30sec (00:12:30) which is how long our soccer quarters are.
Stream-lined multifunction watch
I was looking for a multifunction watch, but most watches this type are massive with knobs sticking out all over. I finally found this streamlined version which draws little attention to itself. Numbers and letters are large and easy to read. After having worn this watch for two or three weeks, I happily would have paid twice as much or more for it. We’ll see how long it lasts, but, for this price, I’d gladly buy it again. Truly a great find.

Great watches
It's an ironman.. what else can I say.. comfortable, nice looking ,easy to read.. my first ironman was the triathlon back in the day. I was always told when you find something that works for you don't change it any these watches work for me.. if I could change one thing I would make the alarm a little louder but I'm getting old and don't hear as well as I once did.
Tough watch for everyday use.
This is my third watch of this type over the last 12+ yrs. I like them because they are tough and believe me, I am hard on watches. I started wearing these before I retired because of the type of work I did and they got banged around a lot and they just kept right on working. I wear them when working around the house and in the yard and I have never broke one from hard use. The band breaks, and I get it replaced, and keep right on trucking. When the battery dies, I don't bother replacing the battery because by the time I pay to get that done, I could have bought a replacement for a few bucks more. Hope they don't stop making this model.
Incredible Value
There’s nothing I don’t like about this watch. Feels very modern and retro at the same time. A great number of functions for those who use it to run and it’s extremely comfortable. I actually wear it to sleep.
The illumination function is a highlight as well. A great value for the low price.
Pleased with purchase. Band replacement will be only problem I see.
As advertised, band needs to be a bit bigger. They did advertise it as an 8 inch band, so they were up front with that. If the band breaks, I believe it will be hard to find a replacement.
Great watch for active people
I like that I can wear in the pool and my sweating when exercising doesn't harm it. I also like that I can check the time in the middle of the night. This is the second version of this watch I have owned. The first one I owned for over 10 years and it was still working but I caught it on a railing when I was walking by and tore the wrist band. The wrist band on the new watch is the only difference and it is a little shorter (by one notch), but is still adequate.
Finally a watch with buttons I can press!
Before I had to properly align my fingernail with a recessed button to change the time when I traveled or time something (impossible to do accurately because it would take a few presses). This new watch had sleek protruding easy-to-press finger-friendly buttons. I also like its large letter design and light.
It’s a watch
A friend of mine does concrete for a full time job, he wears the same watch. That’s why I purchased it, I work in a hospital and use the timer often for vitals when I don’t want to look at my watch - timer alarm goes off, I’m done counting. Has three alarms that are very easy to set/use. Also has a future date alarm for an anniversary or shift work reminder and the night light can be set to be turned on by any button and will remain in that setting for eight hours. Really just a watch though.

Thank you Casio Updated 4-27-21
I received this watch on 1-20-2018. I received my first Casio watch on Christmas morning somewhere around 1979. That watch, a simple, black plastic digital one, kept working for about 15 years, on the same battery. This wasn't any great feat in my mind at the time. It was just all I really knew, except for the time when I got an Armitron calculator watch at some point. Not only did the Armitron not last, it also felt like it wouldn't last. The buttons were flimsy, the edges rough, and it had an overall plasticky feel, even though it was gold. My old Casio shined by comparison. My dad got himself the same one as me that Christmas, except in stainless, and anytime it came up in later years, he'd laugh and say something like "David, I think I wore that watch for thirty years and I only replaced the battery once." So that is what Casio is in my mind.
There's a reason why the Casio "Duro" has such a stellar reputation!
After having watched multiple videos reviewing the MDV106, or "Duro" if you're a Casio geek, I just had to find out for myself. Also, after seeing a video on the YouTube channel "Just One More Watch" where it was noted that Casio have stopped adding the marlin logo to the watch face, in lieu of a plain dial with just Casio and WR200M on it
I bought mine in June 2022 and Amazon must have some stock built up because it came with the marlin logo printed on the watch face. I ended up buying a second one, exact same black and silver one, just so I'd have one to keep in tip-top shape when I want to wear it in the future.
Best overall value out there!!
How much watch did I get for $40? Actually, quite a lot! For an inexpensive watch, Casio put the money in all the right areas - a full 200m of WR, a big high-visibility 44mm case, screw down crown, crown protectors, high mirror polish on the case sides and brushed lug tops, 120 click bezel with firm crisp clicks, and a clean dial with embossed indices. The second hand and bezel both allign with the dial indicies - at least on the 2 models that I own. I've been wearing this watch during my 1/2 mile swims 2-3 times a week for about 5 months. No signs of taking on moisture. I'd guesstimate it keeps time around +10 seconds per month.
Most cost-effective water sports watch you'll ever own
I bought the Casio Duro (as it is colloquially called) because I wanted a battery-powered watch that could withstand water pressure when snorkeling and surfing. My logic was that if it survive diving, then it could survive anything from that depth up. Enter the Casio MDV106 Duro. I bought the black version because I liked the neutral, classic styling epitomized by diving watches, like the Rolex version. It goes with everything, from business suits to t-shirts. For the price of a plastic watch, I got a stainless steel case with resin strap that epitomizes adventure.
Great Inexpensive Waterproof Quartz Watch
I'm a watch snob. I hate quartz. I prefer mechanical watches. Even so, I really like this watch and I wear it now as my daily driver. I'm quite surprised that I could learn to love a cheap $40 watch like this one.
I have a collection of elegant mechanical wristwatches, that include everything from the basic stainless steel Swiss dive watch to more expensive French and German horological timepieces with power meters and moon phase complications (but no tourbillions). I bought this watch to replace my daily driver, which was a fully mechanical oyster day-date watch by a famous watch company. My previous daily driver had a band that kept failing due to a heavier than steel case and a band that allowed too much force to be transferred to the spring bars when I would bump the watch into something.
The Most Awesome Watch in this Price Range
This is the best analog watch in the world under $50. It's probably the best watch available under $150. This is the best analog watch in the world under $50. It's probably the best watch available under $150. It's nicely chunky and looks great on my 8 inch wrist. It's super easy to read and super easy to use.
It's rated for 200 M Which is far deeper than I will ever dive. Like most modern divers, I rely on a dive computer as my primary timing device. This watch is simply a backup should the computer fail. This watch is cheap enough that if it failed I wouldn't shed too many tears.
Good Surfing Watch
I'm not a diver, but started learning to surf. Need to keep track of time while in the waves. So far, I've taken this watch out four days; each day included three one-hour sessions with a 15 minute break in between. Because I'm a beginner surfer, you can imagine the wipeouts I've experienced. I know the face has scraped the beach floor several times as a result of my tumbling - scratches are slightly visible on the glass. The watch keeps on ticking and remains accurate. I chose the MDV106 model with the black background. The dial is large - it has a 44.45 mm outer diameter. The white hour marks and hands are quite visible. They are slightly visible at night; keep in mind these aren't "LED" lights, so you can't expect them to glow with "LED" intensity. Lastly, because this timepiece didn't cost me a fortune, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Little dim and annoying band strap.
The watch look nice and slim enough to not truly stand out. Got the black metal strap. Also, the watch follow closely behind the big watch trend, considering the sizes and widths of this watch. It is plain and simple, pretty much minimalist, if anything else.
Now, the letters are too little, like the 'pm' onto the left side of the hours. There is so much space and did not increase the size of the letters. As well as the clock hours are a little dim and must have light to really light up the whole digital part. Would recommend this watch nontheless for it price and appearance.
An elegant, simple, digital dress watch
My Yunik digital watch is a quality product. Perfect for as a dress or sports watch with all the basic functions needed for any occasion. This watch is an excellent value, which has a clean and attractive
design. I am very pleased with my purchase.
great watch it has held up so far
very nice watch I would give it a 4 1/2 stars if I could. The accessibility is great, easy to manuver around the watch. The flashlight works very well I can see the time in the dark. Tells the date. watch band seems very nice. great watch overall.
Great cheap watch
Super great buy. I’ve been daily wearing for 18 months. Still works great. Finish and glass looks new. Band is intact. I don’t actually measure time keeping but I do reset it from time to time.

Reliable and classic watch
I just ordered and received this, my second DW5600E after the first one suffered bezel failure (the watch still works) after almost 12 years on the original battery. When I tried to replace the failed battery I accidentally bent the (very stiff) original band too far the wrong way; my fault. The resin is tough but it does get a little brittle with age. That watch replaced a 1982 vintage DW200 that also still works, but also had the resin case crack after 28 years of nearly continuous use and multiple battery changes.
I was delighted to receive a watch made in Thailand, not China, at this price point. I look forward to another decade or more of flawless usage and utility.
1 of 2 best watch values IN THE WORLD!
Aside from the Casio Duro (best value 200 meter dive watch on earth), this is the best value all-around, durable, simple, classic “beater” watch money can buy. Removed it from the package and threw it to the bottom of my swimming pool for several hours to be sure it had no water resistance defect. I haven’t had this model long, but it’s been on several hikes and my puppy got a hold of it and tossed it around before I was able to grab it back. I’ve had several other G-shocks that were larger and more bulky on the wrist but this is super light and comfortable in comparison. BTW, lots of people complaining about the top left button appearing to be recessed or stuck in the pushed-in position, but if you look online at photos for 3 minutes, you will find that this is the design of this watch and not a malfunction. So far, so good!
Yes I do have the time
I had a cheap casio in the 80s , broke when I fell off my bike , was looking for another timex when I came across the g shocks , got a used in like new condition one from Amazon for a few dollar savings with free prime shipping . Was worried at first band was gonna be too small but I think its because of the curve of the watch , I still have 5 holes left over after buckling it . This is the first digital watch I've had since I was a kid , love the simple functions , the weight and look of it . Watched a bunch of u toob vids before ordering. Curious how long the battery will last though with using the alarm daily for wake ups.
It's a G-Shock!
What can you say - it's a G-shock and does what it's suppose to do. Accurate and water proof to 200 meters. It's comfortable to wear, light weight and looks really nice. Good backlight. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive G-Shock watches. Does not have a compass, barometer etc. etc. but I just needed a rugged time piece for when the going gets tough in adverse outdoor situations.
The only thing that some may not like is:
I have a 6 1/2" wrist It's size is just right. Therefore the display is small that some (with poor eyesight like me) may find it a little difficult to read under certain conditions. Also, if you have a very large wrist the watch will look like you're wearing a woman's watch.
Didn't feel right without it
Had this watch for almost a year, wore it everyday. Just decided to buy another one because i got a bit of transmission fluid on it and it ruined the rubber/plastic. You'll never get the smell of it off either. You could get new bands and a bezel, but for the cost (and the smell of transmission fluid) you might as well just buy another one. This watch held up to pretty much everything I threw at it, just keep it away from harsh chemicals and automotive fluids. Hard to tell from the pic, but transmission fluid kind of made the bezel part swell up.
Works as advertised, has for 40 years of watches
This is a replacement watch. Have been replacing every 5-7 years for 40 years. The watch has all the functions I need at a good price. All the watches have been reliable and relatively accurate. Working on the water and around lots of vertical wiring have ended up with some of them snagged and ended up in the water, but the price has made replacing them affordable. The 24 hour time readout has been invaluable for watch standing over the years. They have to be good if I keep coming back to them.

When I received this product, it came in a little pouch that was somewhat appealing. We have to keep in mind a watch at this price point should have the highest of expectations. However, it is safe to say that there are other watches for the same price point with high quality. With that being said, let’s begin.
This watch has a high yellow gloss which I love. From a distance it looks like a high quality watch. However, when you pick up, you can immediately tell that it’s not. It’s very light weight and it feels cheap. Like one of those watches from a costume. I’m giving the watch a 4 although I should give it a 3 because the stop watch isn’t working but then again, look at the price point. But again, I have bought watches in the similar price point, and the quality and the feel of it seems expensive.
Nice Clone
This obvious clone of the most beautiful watch, the Rolex blue gold and stainless is a fair attempt to find that beauty, one problem, the analog buttons were never on the R clone these are for show and dials blur what could have a much better plain face without the goofy, Nonfunctioning useless dials and buttons
Links hard to replace
The watch looks and works great, though the setup instructions are vague. The link removal tool they send is garbage. I was able to remove the extra links easily with a sturdy removal kit.

Many Times, the Old-Fashioned, "Boring" Ones Make the Best Life Partners
Summary: This is a review for the black "Camper" style Expedition watch with a black Velcro Fast Wrap band. This style is unique from the other Expedition Acadia watches offered by Amazon in that it has water resistance of 100M instead of 50M for the other models. I have seen some non-Amazon reviews showing this same black Timex Expedition watch with 50M water resistance, but mine is 100M. I believe that there is also a white dial version of this watch, too, that is available on Amazon, but it is listed separately from the other Acadia models.
A quick rundown of watch details: 38mm resin case, quartz movement, 100M water resistant, Indiglo, push crown at 3 o'clock with modest protectors flanking the crown, date complication, hackable second hand, stainless steel screw down case back, Fast Wrap Velcro band, black dial, white Arabic numerals, small military time designations, flush acrylic face, white lumed minute and hour hands, and red second hand. All in all, a very simple watch design.
Wow! Didn’t expect to like this watch SO much
I got tired of my Apple watch reminding me to stand up, or close rings. I decided to abandon it for an “old school” dial watch. I was ready for lower tech. This Timex sold me visually, but I was even more pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Its well-made, really easy to read, has the date… and lights up a beautiful aqua color with the “indiglo” feature. Honestly, I avoid reviews because so many items are NOT what they appear to be online. This is a winner- and worthy of my time to review. You’ll love this watch!
Nice inexpensive watch
First of all - the price for this watch is perfect! The watch is accurate in time keeping and endures the hardware store evironment where I work for 40+ hours a week. It is a lightweight watch - something that you notice the first time you open the box.... But, that is appreciated when worn daily. Overall, a good watch for a rough environment.
Its a Times
Nothing fancy and does not have 86 features to confuse you. Like that. A bit harrd to read at 3 AM, but that could be me not the watch. It does exactly what I bought it for. Keeps the time and has a background light feature. Takes a licking and keeps on Ticking.
A Good Watch as usual
I have owned several of this type watch in the past and they all lasted for years and I was not easy on them.
I always bought them at a nearby Timex Outlet store that has since closed which led me to purchase this one from Amazon.
Easy to read, Lights up well in the dark. What's not to like?
It's actually light weight for a Timex.
I have had several Timex Expeditions. This one is the best one yet that I've owned. The last two had some defects. This one has had no problems. The light works, the case is well sealed, and the band is great. I love that the stem is protected on two sides and can't get caught on things, which is a great bonus for me. The stem came off the last Expedition watch I had, and I lost it, and that's not going to happen on this one. I was surprised that the watch was so lightweight. That's an extra bonus. A very good watch for a very good price. What did I expect? I grew up with the following commercial "Timex takes a licking and keeps on ticking."

Looks great - but bracelet is cheap
Bought this as a used item on Amazon for about 1/3 the typical price and 45% off the sale price. The grading was “Very Good” and noted minor imperfections on top and side of item.
I received the watch in its original packaging with no warranty card. It did have a booklet. The presentation box had a very small amount of damage to one corner and was otherwise in good shape. The watch was obviously previously opened, with the plastic crystal cover removed and pressed onto the inside of the presentation box. The bracelet and caseback plastic coverings were in place. I did not find any imperfections on the watch.
8926 vs the Ubiquitous 9937 ... watch collector and Dive Master
My first dive watch was Seiko's first dive watch, the 62 MAS introduced in 1965. I've collected watches ever since.
The watch pictured next to my Ball Skindiver is the Seiko Prospex Reinterpretation of that original watch, their newer 1965 Automatic Diver's Watch SPB051J1. I wore that original Seiko dive watch for more than 20 years without service of any kind, through thousands of dives. Their new "reinterpretation" is much improved.
I bought my first Invicta 9937 to replace that original Seiko many years ago, mostly because I liked the Submariner look, and it served me wonderfully well until a close friend talked me out of it. I bought a new one to replace it ... the 9937 is my favorite Invicta dive watch hands down.
This is a fantastic watch regardless of the price.
I’ve had the watch for a week now, and it is a fantastic watch regardless of the price. The fact that I paid $65 for it makes it completely surreal. Forget for a moment that it really looks like and performs like a Rolex. Just think,
of buying an automatic watch for $65 that looks this good. It’s heavy, looks great on the wrist, the fit and finish is really flawless. The second hand hacks away six times per second. I bought it in stainless steel with a black face and bezel. The only minor thing I notice is that the luminous paint has a slightly yellow look to it in the daylight. Thus, it appears to have a very minor pale yellow and black appearance. The luminous paint works well in the dark, as long as it’s been in some sunlight earlier.
Great intro to Automatic/Mechanical watches.
Invictas get a lot of hate for being a Rolex homage, yet other brands like Orient can make Rolex homages and not get hate. This does not makes sense to me. Now that the elephant in the room has been addressed, this watch is killer for the price. It includes a Seiko NH35 movement, a solid and hackable movement. My Seiko 5 that was more expensive included a non-hacking 7S26 movement, solid and reliable, but still more expensive than this Invicta. I love my Seiko 5 but the movement in this is superior and maybe even more accurate (not that the 7S26 isnt accurate) for less money. As a first Mechanical watch you cannot go wrong with this. Yes it looks like a Rolex Submariner, but the best part is its less than $100 and you wont feel bad using this watch as a tool watch, the way it was intended.
Even my jeweler said, "Wow. Beautiful."
Took it in to have a couple of links removed from the band - at the best and largest jewelry shop in town (Rolex dealer, staff of 20, been doing business there for 10 years, am treated like "family"). They actually passed it around. "It looks like a Rolex!" But that's not why I bought it.
I needed a green dial, gold, classic style, automatic, inexpensive. I've had great luck with Invictas. Own six Invcta automatics and one quartz - some 20 years old. Two all-gold; the rest stainless or two-tone. They all still look brand new and keep incredible time. No wear on any of the gold plating. Amazing.
Rolex Submariner Alternative
Perfect for those people on a Rolex budget that are not willing to cash in their SNAP benefits. Extremely similar dimensions, functions, and time sweep as a Rolex Submariner with equal quality but without the price tag. Durable materials ensure the watch will last a lifetime during normal use. Waterproof testing has passed with no hiccups in operations or fogging of the lens. The watch is not as heavy as your mother in law and is more comparable in weight to a 24 year old college cheerleader. The band may need some adjustments to get a tight fit similar to that first time on a date. If your date won’t give you the time of day, this watch will and without fail. Best bang for your buck.
Excellent piece for the price
I was extremely skeptical about purchasing this Invicta pro diver simply because of the negative reviews I kept seeing. Alas after almost a year of debating, I pulled the trigger and purchased my first automatic piece, and I 100% buy it again. The watch build is surprisingly good for the price and with the nh35A movement quite accurate. I have had the watch for 9 months to date and I use it at least 3-4 days of the week and it never fails. Accuracy is 8/10 the watch looses about 2-3 seconds a week and the glass is mineral crystal which does attract those scratches, but as stated before it is still excellent quality for the price, I should mention I got this on an Amazon sale for $55. The bracelet is off a high quality as well as the case. There really isn't any cons, you just need to know how to calibrate the watch when you get it and you should be good to go. 10/10 would recommend purchasing.

Not what I was looking for, not bad for the price.
Obligatory warning, I type at half the speed of smell so I'm using talk to text. Please forgive any grammical errors as talk to text is notoriously defiant.
On to the watch. For starters, it's not a bad watch bad watch. A bit larger than I was anticipating, but that just makes it easy to read in a hurry. The actual clock function is near spot on. I set the watch to the clock on my cell phone and so far it has yet to drop any time. The alarm is loud enough that it could wake me up from my usual nap on the couch, And the stopwatch is always a welcome feature. But I needed a watch that had a timer
Easy to read, reliable, accurate, comfortable
The watch can be read at any angle clearly. Easy and big numbers and date make fast no eye strain to look at time or date. Doesn't appear to have a year function though. Band is very comfortable and the watch has screws to hold the metal plate which makes it easy to change batteries vs snap on back for most cheap watches. Also the back cover shows the type of battery used so you can buy the battery before you remove the back. LED backlight is easy to see at night. The only thing I had to figure out was how to get 12hr time as the instructions not clear on how to do this but all you have to do is scroll through the 24hr time then it goes to 12hr time so you can set pm or am.
Like this watch a lot!
I was really sad when I lost my last watch. And even more sad when I couldn’t find one exactly like my old one. But this watch is a great size for me (I like my watches on the larger side, though) and it’s been really great! Totally legible, I like the light and really like that I can track seconds. It’s really easy to set up. I will say though, that I wish there was an easier way to switch between 24hr time and 12hr time. Because I like switching between both and on my last watch you just press a button and it automatically does it for you. But for this one you have to press the button multiple times and then go all the way through the numbers to change it yourself. And sometimes I forget! But overall, great watch. ??
Functional
This was purchased as work watch. I am very pleased with the look and its functions. Watch has a larger than normal face which makes it easy to read, it also allows for the buttons to easily pressed with movement of the wrist. But this watch does all that you need. Time, stopwatch and alarms. Good watch.

Great for senior man.
I got it for my husband. He could not read his old one anymore. Nice to add the date with the time. It took several times to update it as only 12 hours. When we first sal it at 1 pm it said 13 time. Now it works perfectly and aids 1:00. . After the second day it showed the correct date. It is great to read the paper that came with the wallet that tells you how to set it up. That works good. He know wears it everyday. It fits well on his arm.. I tried it on my arm and it fits well for woman too. He really likes it.

Takes me back…
A simple digital watch. So light, you don’t know it’s there, nice, readable display, no timer function, but it has a stopwatch. Let’s be honest, you will probably never use the stopwatch, or the alarm. This watch tells accurate quartz time for under $20. Water resistance? Most Casios punch above their weight, but take it off to shower or wash dishes. The band is fairly easy to adjust; search “adjust Casio watch band” on YouTube. It’s comfortable, looks far more expensive than it is, fits under a shirt cuff, and would not be out of place in a board meeting, although I wear G Shocks everywhere. It takes me back to high school, when simple digital watches were what I wore. I had Timex as well as Casio, back then, but Timex today, are too expensive, compared to Casios. I think Timex has gotten a bit full of themselves. Pass on them, and get this. You won’t be disappointed.
Cheap and cheerful in these trying times
You cannot go wrong with this gem.
It’s a primo throw-back to the 80’s that also does a good job of keeping time. At first I thought it was too small, because I’m used to wearing G-Shocks. I got over that quickly and now I wear it all the time.
The busy face with blue and red text is fun to look at. The blue-green “Illuminator” backlight works well and looks cool in the dark.
I wear it everywhere.

Easy to Read, Easy to Set, Perfectly Accurate
I bought this to replace a Casio which had so many features that I had to study the manual for many minutes before I could even do simple things, like setting the analogue time. If you just want to know what time it is without going through a training course and having to put on your glasses, this is the watch for you. It is perfectly accurate so far as I could tell over one day. I could only measure within a second or two, given that it is an analogue watch, but there was no observable variation between a time app on my smartphone and the watch. I like the simple band. Evidently I have thin wrists, because every watch I buy seems to have too-long straps. No problem with the simple Timex nylon band. I hooked it about in the middle, and it is fine. I cut off maybe 3/4 inch and used a butane lighter to seal the cut -- took me a minute or two at the most. Quite a contrast to many other watches with fancy bands. This is a down-to-earth, no frills instrument that still manages to look quite handsome.
Looks good
I just got my Timex Weekender 38 mm with blue with grey stripe wristband. It look perfect. I thought about getting the 40 mm, but now that I see it up close and personal, it seems just perfect. I thought about the one with black band, but black was out of stock so picked this one which turns out to be just perfect. I have Apple Watch I wear on my left wrist, but tire having to push the button for it to light up so I can read it. Plus I constantly worry tge battery will run out. I wear the Timex on my right wrist so when my wife asks me for time, I can just flash it for her to see herself. Haven’t had this watch long enough to comment on its water resistance. It doesn’t light up when night time unless you push the button it, but overall I like it.
Way better than that “expensive” spiedl
I bought two watches and was unable to return one of them because the time had lapsed. That watch, the spiedl, was trash out the box. Wouldn’t keep the time and would stop ticking. This one out of the box always kept the time, hasn’t stopped and is still working for me. The one thing I will say about it though is that it’s ticking is very loud but it helps me find it when I lose it. This over those expensive and fancy watches.
Great inexpensive but good looking watch
TL;DR: This is a great looking, inexpensive, and reliable watch with a classic design. You can easliy change out the straps for a fresh look and it can go with practically anything short of a suit. I'm loving this one.
While looking at different types of feild watches, I happened upon this Timex Weekender and was intrigued. Figured it was too cheap to be good. Started looking up reviews and couldn't really find anything bad about it other then lack of water resistance. Even found a few people saying they've had this watch for years and have had great luck with it.
Good for the price
I would say it’s the best watch ever made but for around $40 it’s pretty good. My only complaints is that it is a little loud if you lay it on surfaces. My other “complaint” is that the band is ugly. I would definitely recommend buying a different band. If you have a price range under $100 for a watch I would recommend This watch, Casio Duro, and sieko 5.
Keeps on ticking
This my third purchase of a Weekender……the others are still going strong after years of use and the kids now wear them . Very durable and reliable these watch’s are perfect for my daily activities whether it be a day at the beach , on a boat repairing the cars or yard work.
Value!!
This watch is such a great value! I trust Timex and coming back to this brand after many years of not wearing a watch was a no brainer.
The dial size is comfortable- I like to wear it on the inside of my wrist. I also do not remove my jewelry or watches. This watch has been through showering, splashes on vacation and in the pool. No problems. Glad Indiglo was still a feature.
The look of this watch has a great throwback unisex styling. I was also attracted to the band feature. I love that should I want a new strap I can change that out inexpensively or I could switch it out for a traditional two piece strap with the watch pins. At 34 dollars this watch is an excellent purchase, I would recommend it to anyone interested in reliability in keeping the time, and a modern yet vintage feel in style. Very easy to wear, happy customer!

Bought for swimming, Works great! Casio for the win. LOVE CASIO watches.
Over decades (since they first started MAKING and selling a version of this watch) I've owned a bunch of Casio watches. Still have some of them (beat up in extreme)
These have always been my go-to exercise watch, including swimming and bike messenger-ing many years ago. (only the one that did the temperature sensor thing ever had a water leakage issue)
PLEASE NOTE: I know the fine print (I finally found that advice on the amazon page today!) says these are NOT for swimming, but the watch says 30 meters, and I never go deeper than 15 feet and I've used these for swimming and running in rain, and cycling in rain, and sweating on and generally beating to death. :-) The straps break (get shredded or torn off my wrist), the crystals get scratched or the batteries die, but the watches themselves... survive most of the punishment I've given them - both this and the previous ones.
Love This Watch
Bought an open box, Like New and at a great price. I love this watch. From the distance it looks a lot like there expensive G Shock. But I had no need for all the bells and whistles. So if you like the look of G Shock, there are plenty similar looking Casio in the $20-$30 range.
Quality
I just got the watch. I had casio watch before, so I rate the watch 5 star in temrs of water resistance even though I just received it because I have my older watch for 5 yrs and I had it on 27/7, when swimming, on the shower hot and cold and at the gym it is just unbreakable. In terms of style, it looks great and just as it looks like in the picture. One important feature for me was the light which it works well as it shown in the pciture! Dude I’m satisfied! ????
It is pretty simple, I just need to know time, date and has lighting botton to see it in the dark
I wanted a digital watch but considering delicate led screen and unnecessary features for $40 dollars more, I prefer a simple watch, with timer and alarm. This one is good, not too bulky and still being sport or casual
