Even with all of the excellent reviews for this watch, I was skeptical of how good it could be given the low price. However, I took a chance and very happy that I did. The picture doesn't do this watch justice - "in person" it looks and feels very high quality. I love the very plain, uncluttered, retro appearance.
BUY NOWI've never had a nylon watch band, but so far I love it. Most comfortable watch I've ever worn. I've always hated watches - leather makes my wrist sweat like crazy and metal links grab and pull my arm hairs all day. The nylon is extremely comfortable. I put it on first thing in the morning and take it off just before bed, and hardly notice it is there throughout the day.
Other reviewers have mentioned that the ticking is loud. I suppose it is loud in comparison to other watches, but it is only really noticeable when you are sitting in silence. Even the slightest noise will cover up the sound of the ticking. Actually, when I can hear the ticking, I find it soothing - reminds me of the old clock at my grandparents' house when I was sleeping over!
I can't recommend this watch highly enough. Buy it now!
