I have been buying the Casio Digital watches since the 1980's. I won't wear any other kind of watch. The resin bands are so comfortable and smooth to wear. I now prefer this Quartz digital F-91W model because it is always available and it has what I call a green "firefly" light you can turn on to see what time it is in the darken movie theater. This model IS water resistant. There is an alarm you can set to the time you want it to beep. This watch is always correct to +/- 30 seconds per month. You can always reset the time of this watch down to the very second. There is an alarm you can set to beep every hour (choice of on or off) and set to an exact time. Choose 12-hour or 24-hour (military) reading. Auto calendar you can set day and date. You can even set it to "Leap Day ' (2-29).
