I'm old fashioned and feel naked without a watch. Had an all-metal ESQ for years, but when it broke a watch repair place told me to cut my losses since the brand is basically defunct. I like analog watches, hate roman numerals (ancient Rome fell for a reason), and don't want stupid features I will never use or a date window I can't see at 51 years old. This watch is very comfortable and easy to read. Don't listen to the review that says it's hard to read at certain angles. If this happens in certain lighting, you will instinctively move your wrist and suddenly the hands will be easy to read. Plus the amazing availability of replacement bands that you can swap out makes this a versatile piece for everyday wear. They even stamped the battery it takes on the back of the cover! (Message to all battery watchmakers: DO THIS!!!)
