It's the watch you need, not the watch you think you want
Getting the DW5600E was another step I took on the path of simplifying my life. I've been using smart watches since the Pebble Kickstarter funding campaign but it was only recently I understood that instead of making my life easier, smartwatches were just another complication I could very well do without.
The DW5600E is as basic as a watch can be while still maintain the same ruggedness and durability for which the G-Shock watches are famous. It's not an overly large monstrosity as the G-Shock I used to wear in the army and it fit comfortably on my wrist. There are functions for stopper alarm and timer but who really needs it on a watch when we all have a smartphone can perform these functions better? So let's summarize: It an almost unkillable watch that displays the time and the date accurately and you really don't need anything else beyond that in a watch.
