Fantastic watch, wrist bracelet is small like small!
've been wanting a watch for quite sometime and when I spotted this bad boy I had to grab it. I love the Gun metal black color it goes good with just about every color. The watch was as brand new as brand new gets. I'm satisfied with my purchase.
Now I have three drawbacks about this watch. The first is I have a large wrist and the watch just barely made it to the 2nd hole to lock it in. So for me it's a snug snug fit. The other drawback is when it's dark you ain't seeing seeing nothing on us wrist unless you have some light to shine on it. The third drawback is if you purchase the wrist band that comes with it just know it's small like you would thought it would been much bigger bade of how it looks. I like it but wish it was bigger. Overall I love color and look and it my first fossil so super happy about that!

Good:
Have had this watch for about two weeks and I LOVE it. It is EXTREMELY light weight (almost impossible to feel on your wrist unless you have it so tight it is cutting off circulation which you shouldn't be doing anyway). If it is tightened properly, you cannot feel it. The time is easy to read. The band is plastic, meaning it is waterproof and you don't have to take it off to wash your hands (like I was having to do with all my leather bands and getting annoyed). Also shows the day and the date, which is super helpful during a hectic work week when everything starts to blur together.
Has a retro 1980s vibe that is totally in right now with Stranger Things and hipsters and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Somehow, after all of these features, the watch still costs only $9. Thus, I offer this watch up as the very best value in any watches anywhere. I thought my $20 Timex was a good value, but after buying this watch the Timex just sits in my drawer since it seems so comparatively heavy, high maintenance (canvas band that starts to smell funky after a few weeks and needs watching). I wear this watch daily and get a weird kick out of putting it on. The best $9 I have spent in a long time. Has an aesthetic that is 100% functional/pragmatic, which just makes it a fun thing to use. I wish I had purchased this watch YEARS ago. I am excited about using this watch to backpack since I am not afraid about it being stolen, quickly tells me the time (digital), won't absorb odors or show dirt, and weighs nothing.

Fossil Men's the Minimalist Stainless Steel Slim Casual Quartz Watch
Beautiful, Durable Minimalist Watch
got this watch 3 months ago and have worn it most every day since. The design is very good and minimalist. The numbers around the perimeter aren't very big so you don't notice them usually and it looks like a numberless face, which I prefer. The markings are very clear and the materials look very quality. The leather band feels nice and smells really good when you first get it (smell wears off after a few days). It doesn't slip down your wrist like some other watches do. The crown feels nice but every now and then it will pop out on its own, pausing time. This usually happens when taking off a jacket. The markings sparkle on a sunny day if you move your wrist around. It's overall a very beautiful watch that I get complimented on regularly. The markings and hands are glow in the dark, but keep in mind this is limited: it only glows dimly for a minute or so before turning off. It's not a watch you can expect to use in the dark all the time. The face is very durable, it still doesn't have any scratches. The chrome around the face, however, has collected many minor scratches. It still looks good, though, especially if you're not inspecting it up close.

It needs to have a comfortable flat black nylon velcro closing band so that it will come away in an emergency but stay firmly fastened on the outside of my flame resistant flight gloves in a 100 knot wind when the doors of my helicopter are removed. It needs to have a guard to protect the crown from snagging on my flight equipment. Sure, I could buy a $300 dollar watch that could do all of that, or, I could buy this watch. Thanks Timex.
Great watch. Good price. Dependable.
I usually buy cheap watches, in the $5 range, from WalMart, and they fall apart. I'm a welder, and the sweat from wearing thick leather gloves and welding melts the cheap glue holding the straps together and they fall off. Decided to splurge a bit, bought one of these.
Haven't had any issue out of it. The illuminated watch hands are great and easy to see in the dark, and the light up face is clear. There is a small section at the bottom of the watch face that doesn't illuminate, but it's the size of the moon on my fingernail and so low that it doesn't affect my ability to read the watch. That's the reason for the 4 star rating of the built-in light.
The 4 star rating for water resistance is because I refuse to wear it while bathing or swimming, so I can't say I've tested it thoroughly enough to say with certainty that it's as water resistant as it is. Feel free to test it yourself if you want, I always take it off personally.
It's a 5 star rating for readability, easily. The only problem I have with the watch is that it requires being adjusted monthly to keep the number of days correct. If you don't correct it, at the beginning of the next month you'll be off by a day. It's caused a bit of confusion for me for the first month or two, but if you reset it once a month it's fine. I just wish that it didn't require any tinkering after setting it; I'd prefer something that I can slap on my wrist and only have to finagle it once a year to adjust for the loss of a minute or two, as is inevitable.
